Our sport foot orthotic offers a balance between support and comfort during high impact activities such as running or jogging. The base layer and posting are combined in a medium/high density EVA and is topped by a medium/low density puff type foam. This design offers superior shock absorption while maintaining a moderate level of support. Ideal for runners or athletes suffering from plantar fasciitis or similar conditions.
Our accommodation type foot orthotic is designed to fit the most challenging of foot shapes while maintaining a moderate/low level of support. The base support is fabricated using a dense rubber and support and posting is provided by a medium density EVA foam. The top cover consists of 2 layers; one memory foam/PPT layer topped with a soft puff type foam. This is an excellent option for those with severe conditions such as diabetic neuropathy or rheumatoid arthritis.
The UCBL was developed in 1967 at the University of California at Berkeley Laboratory and is considered a maximum support type foot orthotic and is manufactured using a rigid plastic shell with high density external posting. Our design also features full length medium density EVA foam padding for comfort. The deep heel cup and rigid construction make this foot orthotic an ideal device to treat those with severe but correctable sub-talar joint instability
